The Gated Bloom started with a piece of heavy vintage gate scrollwork I found tucked away in a Phoenix antique shop.
◆ The History: The weathered architectural iron already carried decades of rust, character, and beautifully aged scrollwork.
◆ The Foundation: I welded on a salvaged candleholder to turn the flat gate section into a sturdy freestanding sculpture.
◆ The Bloom: A reclaimed metal flower became the unexpected centerpiece, softening the old iron without hiding its history.
What was once part of a gate now stands on its own — part architectural relic, part botanical sculpture, and completely one of a kind.
