For years, I told other people's stories as a television reporter. Now I tell them in steel.
Finding the Spark
In 2024, I signed up for a welding class because I wanted to create a few sculptures for my own backyard — something more original, more unexpected, and more personal than anything I could buy.
I was hooked immediately.
Just a few days later, I bought my own welder.
The Art of the Transformation
What fascinated me most was the transformation: taking discarded steel, old hardware, rebar, rings, racks, and other forgotten pieces and turning them into something completely new.
One sculpture became another, then another.
Somewhere between the sparks, rust, and scrap, Metal Morph began.
A few backyard sculptures were the plan.
