The stem was once a wall candle holder, cut apart and reassembled into the spine of the piece. Behind it, a panel of fireplace mesh — pulled from a hearth, cut to shape, and welded into place. Raw and industrial, it gives the piece its backbone.
At the center of the bloom: a single punch-out, formed and welded into place as the flower's heart. The base and curling tendrils are built from leftover pieces, nothing wasted, everything purposeful.
Nothing here was bought new. Everything here was saved, transformed, and made permanent.
