The base is built from leftover cut-outs welded together — scraps that most people would throw away, fused into a solid foundation. The stem is a rod salvaged from a metal frame, repurposed into the backbone of the piece. The mesh panel rising behind the bloom? Cut from a larger piece of mesh found in a garbage bin — raw, industrial, full of texture.
The leaves and clusters are each a tiny punch-out disc, welded together one by one by hand. Not stamped, not cast — assembled piece by piece with patience and intention.
At the center of the flower: another punch-out, but this one was worked with heat until it reshaped itself — coaxed into a new form by fire. Every element earned its place.
Nothing here was bought new. Everything here was saved, transformed, and made permanent.
