Quiet, luminous, and impossible to look away from — this one has the stillness of a full moon on a clear night.
The large round disc at the top was once the platform base of a candle holder — concave, heat-toned to a deep blue-rust patina, with a small bolt at its center. Repurposed into a bloom that looks like it's rising.
The leaves clustered along the stem came from two different pieces of wall art — each with its own tone and character, their veining etched in by hand. Look closely and you can see the difference between them. The stem and base are leftover steel, grounded on a diamond-plate plate that adds texture underfoot.
Nothing here was bought new. Everything here was saved, transformed, and made permanent.
