The dark ring at the center — where the blossom rests — was once a wall clock frame, its time-keeping days behind it, now holding something that lasts forever. The blossom itself came from a piece of wall art, its wide ribbed petals catching light from every angle. The sweeping scrolls that arc up and out on either side were found at an antique market — ornate, expressive, full of character before they ever became part of this piece.
The base is leftover steel plate, grounded and solid beneath all that movement.
Nothing here was bought new. Everything here was saved, transformed, and made permanent.
