Every piece of this sculpture was destined for the trash. Instead, it became art.
The stems are forged from salvaged chain — heavy, raw, and full of history. The base was pulled from a metal store scrap bin, cut and welded into a solid anchor. The mesh backdrop? Stripped from an old outdoor fireplace, still carrying the ghost of a thousand fires.
The blooms themselves started life as parts of a candle holder — then met the welding torch. Each petal was worked by hand, shaped with heat and intention, given texture and character that no machine could replicate. At the center of each flower, a punch-out disc — also rescued from scrap — adds a raw, industrial detail that ties the whole piece together.
Nothing here was bought new. Everything here was saved, transformed, and made permanent.
